This is model 377, a Goldsmith round drop leaf table and is the epitome of Ercol’s simple and elegant design coupled with quality craftsmanship.
Ercol furniture was (and still is) produced from only conditioned timbers such as beech, ash and elm - supporting saving the planet from before it was fashionable! An English Elm takes over 150 years to reach maturity; in a piece of Ercol furniture, it is immortalised forever!
This table is not in production any more but if you were to purchase a new table similar in size you’d be looking at paying over £1,400 plus delivery; as well as being half the price, we offer free delivery, so it’s not difficult to work out which is perhaps the best value?
Ercol made this table from the 1950s to the early 1980s and it has always been one of their most sought after models. The table top is made of solid elm with beech legs and cross bars; this table is a really great space saver and a truly beautiful thing!
This table, whilst acquired in fabulous vintage condition with the original colour and blond finish, has still been thoroughly cleaned and degreased; we have then refinished in Osmo oil to enhance and protect and provide a spill, stain proof surface for future years to come. This table features the strong 2 bar leaf support system so if it’s only one leaf you need to use, the table is still solid and sturdy. Ercol describe this as a round shaped drop leaf table designed to seat six people - we think it is roundish, almost oval, in shape.
The table looks equally fine with the leaves lowered or raised and can be useful for space saving when not entertaining or feeding the family.
We have a number of Ercol dining chairs in stock too, please take a look always happy to discount on multiple purchases!
Height 72 cm
Width when fully extended 126 cm
Width when both leaves are folded 62cm

Our Delivery Policy
Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
When ordering, please supply us with your mobile phone number, so we may liaise directly with you regarding delivery. Please advise if there are any delivery restrictions that will apply (such as access, parking restrictions etc.).
Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
