The public’s love affair with Mid Century teak dining tables and chair sets shows no sign of ending and why would it, with examples such as this fantastic G Plan gate-leg dining table with the four chairs, all bought back in the late sixties and has had only one owner from new! The red G Plan label is still present on the table and on each of the four chairs, which still have the original fabric in place.
Designed in the 1960’s by Victor B Wilkins, this formed part of the well known “Fresco Collection “ of furniture.
Easily stored away, the gate leg is designed to leave enough room for all four chairs to fit underneath the table when not in use; with this design you could even fit six, adding an extra at each end, making this table a perfect choice for those with limited space
The table is solid and sturdy and in good working order; it has been thoroughly degreased, lightly sanded, re oiled and polished. The chairs have also been cleaned, degreased and re oiled, the seat pads have been steam cleaned and and are in good condition with only wear and tear expected from a vintage set. The frames are sturdy and fit for purpose and the fabric has no rips or tears.
The frame and legs are constructed from solid aframosia teak with beautiful grain detail. The top is teak veneer, again showing great grain detail, unfortunately some surface scratches are visible but only what you might expect from normal wear and tear on a vintage table. There are photos of the imperfections included in this listing - please take time to look carefully at these as they form an important part of the description.
This listing is for the table and the four chairs in the photos.

Our Delivery Policy
Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
When ordering, please supply us with your mobile phone number, so we may liaise directly with you regarding delivery. Please advise if there are any delivery restrictions that will apply (such as access, parking restrictions etc.).
Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
