Ercol Fleur Du Lys Vintage Kitchen/Dining Chairs

Made to last for generations, dedicated craftsmanship coupled together with the near - indestructability of solid wood, makes all Ercol furniture long lasting and beautiful, and now very collectible.

A pair of extremely comfortable traditional Windsor ERCOL dining / kitchen chairs with classic Ercol rounded oyster elm seat, the traditional, distinctive, Fleur de Lys motif carved into the backrest, four spindles and an H frame that supports the tapered legs.

Unfortunately there are no original cushions but the studs are still intact if you wish to attach new ones; the original blue label (one of their early mid century models ) is also still present on the chairs, evidencing their authenticity.

General grease and grime has been removed, and a new coat of oil applied, then waxed and buffed to give protection. Structurally they are in good order, with no loose / wobbly joints.

These chairs are very comfortable to sit in with the scalloped seats and curved / angled backs, great at a desk or dining table.

In addition to this pair of chairs, we also have another pair of chairs (listed separately). These were all bought at the same time, originally and by us, however these two have more visible damage to the top back rest but would still look fabulous if all added together to make up a large family set! Because of the damage, we have listed these chairs at a cheaper price. We would be happy to discount if all were bought together.

We have tried to provide accurate photos of these charming examples of the Ercol Windsor Chairs so please take time to look at them carefully; we feel that they are an accurate representation of the current condition.

The price is for a pair of chairs; we have two sets currently. If it’s a table you’re after to co-ordinate with the chairs, please message us as we may have something suitable in the workshop but not yet listed.

Our Delivery Policy
 
Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
 
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.

Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
