Vintage Square Two-Tier Smoked Glass Coffee Table by Myer 1960s/70s

The public’s love affair with these vintage coffee tables shows no sign of ending!
This compact, elegant and quite beautiful retro design is a must have in any modern mid century interior; no maker’s mark/stamp or badge but certainly Danish in style probably made by Myer, a great compact solid teak frame with a striking smoked glass top, in typically great vintage condition. There are a few scuffs and dints to the wooden frame and some light surface scratches to the glass top, but no cracks or chips. ( I am always happy to provide extra photos or information. )
Please note the glass sits in a wooden recess with no fixings, yet the glass does not move around as long as the table is in an upright position.
We have cleaned, lightly sanded and finished the table frame with a high quality teak oil; this helps nourish, protect and preserve the wood, but retains the vintage character.
