Vintage furniture comes with a back story; these two chairs (along with the taller two shown in the photos) were discovered hiding in a garage. Although over 50 years old, they are in fabulous condition, as you can see from the photos. Now gently sanded, oiled and waxed, they are good to go for another 50 years - British manufacturing at its best!

First launched in the 1950s, these Ercol Originals all purpose dining chairs are keenly collected and highly regarded. Ercol furniture is synonymous with good design, quality materials and craftsmanship and is built for longevity. These are real eye catching pieces of retro furniture.

These chairs provide a timeless simple elegance, with a solid English Elm seat and beech spindles and legs. The seat shows stunning complex elm grain, and a beech turned spindle back rest which extends below the seat - quite a striking feature. Angled tapering legs provide perfect support and matching stretchers help to bolster the chair's structural rigidity.
