Danish Teak Nest of Three Mid-Century Modern Tables stamped Made in Denmark

An elegant Danish Modern nest of three teak tables, dating from the mid to late 1960s, all are individually stamped “Made in Denmark” to the underside. Produced during the height of Denmark’s furniture export era, this set reflects the refined cabinetmaker tradition that made Scandinavian design internationally sought after. The softly rounded legs, radiused tops, and distinctive recessed apron detail are characteristic of Danish production from this period, sharing design language with work by makers such as Severin Hansen, Trioh, Dyrlund, and other Copenhagen-based cabinet workshops, without a specific designer attribution.

Constructed with solid teak frames and teak-veneered tops, the three tables nest neatly while remaining well balanced and practical when used individually. The proportions are particularly well judged, offering a sculptural presence without excess weight or ornamentation. The warm, even teak tone and clean joinery speak to the quality materials and careful craftsmanship typical of Danish export furniture made for discerning international markets during the 1960s.

The set is in very good vintage condition, showing only light age-related surface marks consistent with careful use. Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon as practicable after the sale goes through.

We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
