An Ercol Round Drop Leaf Table with A Set of 4 Ercol 365 Blond Chairs

This Ercol Kitchen Dining Table and Chair Set was originally purchased in the early 80s and as a set has been lovingly used and looked after by the same family.

With no restoration having to be done, we have kept this completely original. The protective lacquer applied in the factory is mostly still intact. We have however still thoroughly cleaned, degreased and re oiled, providing future protection and nourishment as well as enhancing the fabulous wood grains.

A bit about the Chairs Model No 365

These chairs are one of Ercol’s classic mid century designs, matching ergonomic comfort with inimitable, minimal, style in beautiful solid wood.
Their subtle, yet exaggerated, shape and streamlined legs are so typical of the era and of the Ercol company itself; style and sophistication in perfect unison. The distinctive spindles and hoop backs with the tapered splayed legs give these chairs a following which has only grown over the half century since they were created.

In great condition, these vintage chairs are structurally sound and sturdy, with only minor wear commensurate with age. All four chairs have the Ercol gold badge underneath; the studs for cushion pads are also still intact under the seats.

We do have a the original cushions that fit these chairs. The cushions have been cleaned and are free from stains and odours with no rips or tears. Two of the cushions have faded only slightly from the vibrant original orange colouring and a couple of the straps have been repaired but they still look great!

A bit about the Table :

This is Ercol’s Model No 384, kitchen/dining drop leaf almost round table, a great popular (but rare) family sized table with the option of folding the extra leaves to save space when not in use; it features a detailed support frame and a “bolt” system for supporting the table flaps.

Constructed from a solid elm top and standing on the elegant splayed iconic beech legs, the table will seat 4 comfortably when fully extended, 6 at a squeeze and 2 when collapsed, this Ercol table is nothing if not versatile.

Ercol extended tables are not only highly practical, they are space efficient pieces of furniture; they also retain their proportion whether extended or closed.

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
