A pair of G Plan vintage teak ladder back dining chairs with original upholstery.
These are one of the rarer models. Their sleek, teak design with upholstered seat base combined with impeccable craftsmanship, showcase what makes the brand one of the most iconic in the furniture industry. Unlike most MCM dining chairs which were designed for smaller bottoms, these chairs are incredibly comfortable.
Perfect for collectors, MCM enthusiasts and those wanting to create a modern on trend home, or those who simply want comfort at their dining table.
In used condition. Structurally sound. There are noticeable signs of wear commensurate with age, some scuffs, marks and scratches to the frames. The upholstery has minor signs of wear but is in good clean odour free order. As well as generous, the seat pad is still plump and has no holes or cuts to the fabric.
The Danish Modern Range (1962)
Released in 1962 and designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen, The Danish Modern range embodied the design movements values; clean lines, organic curves, the use of quality materials, and human led design that married form and function. It was a move upmarket for G Plan, was more expensive than their other ranges, and produced in teak, with rosewood features, as well as some pieces being made entirely of rosewood.
We currently have a G Plan Gateleg Table in stock which the chairs would be a perfect fit for! Message us for a combined delivered price if you are interested in a dining set.

Our Delivery Policy
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU PURCHASE FROM AN OFF-SITE ADVERT FOR ETSY, FREE DELIVERY WILL NOT APPLY (AS WE ARE CHARGED CONSIDERABLY MORE). TO AVOID THIS, PLEASE GO DIRECT TO OUR ETSY-POWERED WEBSITE LIGHTFOOTANDLOWE.COM
Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
When ordering, please supply us with your mobile ‘phone number, so we may liaise directly with you regarding delivery. Please advise if there are any delivery restrictions that will apply (such as anything other than ground floor access, parking and access restrictions etc.). We reserve the right to charge for deliveries outside of our standard terms.
Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
