An extremely well made, practical compact, retro piece of furniture, for that styled Mid Century living space and offering an exciting alternative to new furniture whilst still meeting the high standards and expectations of the modern collector of Mid Century Furniture.

This original vintage Nathan HiFi cabinet is built from solid and veneered teak wood, it has a cupboard to the base which has removable metal divider, perfect for storing LPs. There are two height adjustable shelves above and also holes to the back panel to allow wires to pass through. These holes have a plastic covering, unfortunately one is missing.

Nathan Furniture is an enduring British company with a proud history. It has consistently offered elegant designs and quality craftsmanship, using a combination of solid wood and natural veneers meaning that no two pieces are the same, the natural beauty of the grain and tone are also showcased in every piece, big or small!

In 1916 Russian born Barnett Nathan began to manufacture handcrafted pieces of furniture from a workshop in Hackney Road, East London. The early years were tough ones. With the ongoing event of WWI, the firm opted to supplement its income by manufacturing munitions boxes for the Government. In 1963 the company made the decision to focus on the highly desirable, Scandinavian style, teak furniture which was simple, elegant and functional. It was a nationwide success and has influenced the design aesthetic of the company since.

Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
 
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
 
When ordering, please supply us with your mobile ‘phone number, so we may liaise directly with you regarding delivery. Please advise if there are any delivery restrictions that will apply (such as anything other than ground floor access, parking and access restrictions etc.). We reserve the right to charge for deliveries outside of our standard terms.
 
Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
