A vintage/antique Bergère sofa suite, probably English and walnut. A wonderfully presented antique suite with quality finish and appearance consisting of a 3-seat settee and a matching pair of armchairs.

The set displays a desirable aged patina throughout; the stout walnut frame shows fine grain interest and rich caramel hues.

The Bergère seat backs and side panels are in very good, taut, condition.
The sofa and armchairs are generously sized with a long thigh profiles.
Shaped top rails accentuated with demi-lune foliate carved relief panels. Raised upon short ball and claw carved front legs with gently splayed legs to rear. Covered in a tasteful green small cord upholstery with embroidered pattern in pleasing gold and cream framed flower pattern on the one side.

This is a quality, attractive antique Bergère sofa suite, with generously sized 3-seat settee and two accommodating armchairs.
Ideal for the lounge, conservatory, hotel lobby, restaurant or orangery!

Solid joints and construction, cushions are in good order with no stains or smells and still remain plump. The webbing and sprung bases are all in good order.

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
