Blond Avalon Dressing Table with Adjustable Mirror and 3 Storage Drawers

This vintage dressing table with three drawers, and adjustable mirror, was almost certainly manufactured by Avalon (although no badge or label but is similar in style to other furniture I have had in stock of theirs).

A charming chest of drawers with fabulous veneers and superb style.

The two lower drawers form an attractive angled beehive effect, exaggerating the grain of the veneered fronts not broken up by a handle, these pull from underneath. The top drawer to the right has been lined with the same print that has been decoupaged on the top. This has been sealed and varnished to protect.

The mirror shows minor surfaces scratches but has no chips and the metal hinges to adjust work as they should. The mirror could also be easily removed completely if required. ( This will be detached and packaged separately to protect on delivery. )

This Danish influenced piece, light in colour, lends itself well to a Scandi inspired interior and is a fine example of practical Mid Century bedroom storage furniture.

Condition:
This item is pre loved and so shows slight signs of wear, these may include knocks dents and scratches, bumps and scuffs which are commensurates with its age and previous use. All drawers are clean and run smoothly and the piece has been thoroughly cleaned, degreased then re oiled and polished.

The dressing table has been up-cycled with a black and white palm paper decoupaged to the top and also inside the small top drawer.

Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.

Wherever possible, we try to offer free kerbside delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window.

Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge.

Free delivery does not apply to locations a long way away from our location in Cambridge or to areas of mainland UK not routinely covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon as practicable after the sale goes through.

We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
