Wooden Mid Century Desk with Three Drawers and Extending Shelf

This desk is beautifully constructed and is an attractive practical size for the modern home. Constructed from contrasting solid woods, teak and veneers. The desk can be extended quickly and easily by simply sliding out a hidden shelf at the top of the bank of drawers, providing a larger work area when required.

No maker’s mark or labels and my research isn’t giving me any possible brands. Guessing it was probably made in the late 60s /70s. Useful at home, suitable as a student desk or as a reception desk a great looking piece in a small boutique retail store!

In good vintage condition, with minor marks consistent with age and use. A small dark, possibly ink, stain patch on the top of the table top and some scratches, all of which wouldn’t be noticed once a PC / Laptop / Media unit was placed on top. There are some scuffs to the desk legs but the drawers are all clean and have wooden runners. The joints are all firm and the desk has no wobbles. The three wooden drawers are fronted with what I think is solid teak and have wonderful grain detail and probably the original handles, now nicely worn. Unfortunately no key; this desk has been cleaned inside and out, degreased, lightly sanded then oiled (which enhances and protects the wood and wood veneers), ensuring a lasting finish. In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
