Vintage Aqua Blue Formica Folding Table and Two Chairs

A staple of many homes back in the Mid 20th Century, formica topped tables were practical, stylish and the smooth, glossy surface, was designed for easy cleaning. They came in many sizes, patterns and colours, instantly transforming any dull kitchen/dining space, this aqua green table would brighten any home!

Able to fold away, this compact table is perfect for those who don’t have much dining space; the two folding leaves have an automatic spring loaded mechanism making them firm and secure in operation, yet easy and quick to re-fold. The table is in good vintage condition, and has minimal areas of wear, the worst being a chip or burn to the top ( please see our photos) there are a few scratches and nibbles to the outside black edge and light surface scratches to the top. The table has been thoroughly cleaned, the springs oiled and the solid beech legs and frame have undergone a light sand and have been re oiled.
To complete this set there are two beech chairs that come with it (these where acquired at the same time with the table), they are similar in style to the Quitmann cafe chairs that that go so well with the formica tables. These chairs however have a wooden seat, this may not be original and may have been added or replaced the vinyl seat pads like the Quitmanns. The chairs have been cleaned, degreased, lightly sanded and re oiled. They are solid and sturdy with only scuffs and scratches to be expected from age and usage.

A great vintage table and chair set, obviously well made, a great find, ready and waiting for its new home, maybe not just as a breakfast table? These tables work great in coffee shops and small restaurants, handy and space saving, seating two or four, maybe even more!

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
