Vintage Danish Teak 4 Drawer and Cupboard Credenza by Domino Mobler

This is a beautiful mid-century modern credenza from the 1960s.

The credenza was manufactured by Domino Mobler, a Danish company, and exudes the sleek lines one associates with Scandinavian design. The credenza is fashioned from a mixture of solid teak and teak veneer, with a warm amber hue to the wood and fabulous grain. Whilst compact in size, it still offers quite a long top, giving ample space for a flat screen television, lamps, plants and other items. The front is fitted with a stack of four drawers which have solid teak square knobs; adjacent is a sliding door, again with the original carved square teak knob. The door slides open to reveal a spacious, shelved interior, the shelves are adjustable and could be completely removed if required, making them ideal for storing media components. The piece is fitted with a recessed plinth across the bottom for a sleek finish.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition with only wear and tear as expected from age and use. This piece would have originally have had a top to it, you can see feint filled in hole marks to the edges in the centre on the top, we have shown photos of the worst of the scratches and damage. The drawers have a dark brown/black base and are clean and odour free, drawers slide as they should and all knobs are secure and complete.

We have thoroughly cleaned, degreased and re oiled this piece to protect and enhance the wood and wood veneers.

This cabinet does not have the maker label on it but research tells me it is as described.

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, kerbside to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Exclusions to free delivery apply, including where tolls or congestion zone fees apply, for which there will be an additional charge. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
