It’s rare to find these chairs in such good, unrestored, condition.
Steeped in history, these chairs have been loved and well used, in fabulous vintage condition this set of four only need a dust and polish, so we have kept them unrestored, retaining their original charm. These iconic Windsor chairs fit seamlessly into both traditional and contemporary homes.
They boast the distinctive Ercol silhouette and quality workmanship associated with this famed High Wycombe factory. A rich patina serves only to enhance their historical aesthetic. These iconic elm and beech dining chairs have stood the test of time and are now 40 years plus old, an investment antique for the future. Their classic shape and gently tapered legs are so typical of the era and of the Ercol company itself; style and sophistication in perfect unison.
Whilst with some furniture we spend a lot of time sympathetically restoring each item, we haven’t had to do much to these, though some natural wear and tear should still be expected; any unsightly scratches or defects are mentioned and photographed in our descriptions. We believe each piece’s back story adds to the general appeal as it makes it truly unique. Please take time to look carefully at the photos as we feel they are an important part of the description. If you have any queries or questions before purchasing, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The price is for a set of four chairs.
At the time of this listing we also have another set of four in similar unrestored condition; the colouring and wear is similar on both sets and could be used as a set of 8.
We usually have other pairs and odd ones in stock and complementing Ercol tables, if it’s a full kitchen/dining set you are after. Message us beforehand for pricing and availability! Always happy to discount on multiple purchases!

Our Delivery Policy
Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery (plus any associated fees), contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
When ordering, please supply us with your mobile phone number, so we may liaise directly with you regarding delivery. Please advise if there are any delivery restrictions that will apply (such as access, parking restrictions, congestion charge etc.).
Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
