This upcycling and repurposing of old pieces and materials makes buying vintage furniture one of the most environmentally friendly ways to furnish your home, helping to lessen your carbon footprint and making your dining area that little bit greener.
Made from hardwood (teak or beech) with a striking grained teak veneer top but showing what is unfortunately an old ink stain which we cannot remove! Not wanting to throw this away as it’s a perfectly solid stylish serviceable table/desk, we decided to dress it up. So, included in the sale of this table are four round woven raffia place mats, as you can hopefully see from our photos it looks very different when dressed. If used as a desk, a mouse mat would hide the ink stain.
It has been thoroughly cleaned, degreased and re oiled to enhance and protect the fabulous teak wood and grained veneers. The legs are easily removed on this table, so no problem getting it through smaller doorways.
The price quoted is for the table only including the place mats - we have suitable sets of chairs listed separately. If it’s a dining set you’re after, we usually have a few other mid century sets to choose from, just check our other listings or message us for further options. Always happy to discount on multiple purchases!

Our Delivery Policy
Safely delivering items you purchase in a timely fashion is both our priority and also one of the most challenging aspects of our business.
In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers, or for low value items - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
When ordering, please supply us with your mobile phone number, so we may liaise directly with you regarding delivery. Please advise if there are any delivery restrictions that will apply (such as access, parking restrictions etc.).
Please note that if we are unable to deliver on a pre-arranged day, you will be charged a flat fee of £50 for re-delivery.
