ANGRAVE'S Bamboo Swivelling Rocking Armchair 1970s

A beautiful boho mid century sustainable bentwood bamboo armchair, manufactured by ANGRAVE'S of Leicester (the label is still attached underneath on the inside of each chair).

Not only does the chair swivels 360 degrees, it also rocks back and forth.

ANGRAVE'S of Leicester were the last producer of cane furniture in the UK, closing in 2011.

At the time of this listing we have two of these in stock. We also acquired a coffee table from the same manufacturer, bought at the same time, this is listed separately but we would be happy to discount for the set.

Dating from the 1970’s/1980’s, they are suitable for the conservatory, orangery and indeed most rooms, injecting that soft, cosy bohemian vibe.

Also suitable for use outdoors but would need protection from the British winter weather!

They are strong and sturdy and come with the original cushions which are a floral design in pale pastels; these are clean with no rips or stains and all the buttons are firmly attached, with the cushions sitting in the chair. We can also offer a reupholstery service for these cushions ( at an extra cost ), just messaged us with your requirements.

Or go boho and add a sheepskin or faux fur blanket ( happy to supply the sheepskin but this will be at an extra cost, just message us ).

Summer or winter these sustainable bamboo chairs make a strong statement in any living room or chill out corner!

Strapping and bamboo is all good on both chairs with no breaks and all the mechanics of the chair function as they should. Wear is consistent with age and use. The chairs have been cleaned, degreased and re oiled.

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers, or for low value items - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
