A Pair of Quitmann KItchen Cafe Chairs Newly Upholstered.

This listing is for the pair of chairs in the photos, they have been newly upholstered in a fabric called St Tropez by Prestigious Fabrics.

Chairs of this style were a popular choice in most homes in the 1960s and they are now a trendy, modern vintage, quality second hand upcycled choice for the conscious consumer who is looking for something stylish and with a bit of history. Buying second hand certainly doesn’t mean settling for second best!

Made from hardwood (usually beech) by Q Quitmann of Bristol (although some have no labels), creating a solid and sturdy structure, the chairs feature a curved backrest for comfort and have been cleaned, lightly sanded and re- oiled prior to being re-upholstered.

These are practical, sturdy, vintage kitchen/dining chairs which will fit fabulously into any modern/retro mid century home.

As well as in modern homes, these chairs would be suitable in a coffee shop environment or a cosy restaurant, quality made seating offering comfort and giving a retro stylish vision to any dining space.

These chairs remain a firm vintage favourite; affordable, practical comfortable and customisable!

The listed price is for a pair of chairs but if you want more, message us with your requirements and we’ll work out a delivered price. There are a few differences in some of these chairs but they can work great as an eclectic set with the same seat pad on all styles.

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers, or for low value items - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
