Versatile Vintage Black and White Compact Kitchen/Dining Table/Desk

A staple of many homes back in the Mid 20th Century, formica topped tables were practical, stylish and the smooth, glossy surface, was designed for easy cleaning. They came in many sizes, patterns and colours, instantly transforming any dull kitchen/dining space.

Able to fold away, this compact table is perfect for those who don’t have much dining space; the two folding leaves have an automatic spring loaded mechanism making them very solid and secure in operation, yet easy to re-fold. The table is in good vintage condition, and has minimal areas of wear, the worst being a few nibbles to the inside edge as shown in the photos and a few feint scratches and scuffs, all of which are extremely difficult to show in the photographs.

With vintage pieces like this, you certainly get quality and value for money, preserving the past with unusual finds that also help save the planet !

This table has a formica top which is a white background with a black skeleton leaf pattern and a black edging, the legs of the table had already had a bit of an up-cycle so we just gave them another coat of black paint to freshen.

A great vintage table obviously well made, loved and looked after and a great find, ready and waiting for its new home, maybe not just as a breakfast table? The table top has been thoroughly cleaned, the springs oiled and the solid beech legs and frame have undergone a light sand and have been re painted.


These tables work great in coffee shops and small restaurants, handy and space saving, seating two or four, maybe even more! We have shown a selection of styles of seating with this table, all of which are listed separately. We have shown the Quitmann chairs with different upholstered seat pads ; usually we have a set to commission, just message us! We will always offer a discount for multiple purchases, just ask!

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
