A striking Mid Century dressing table/sideboard/media/storage unit with detachable mirror, extremely versatile for the modern home and attractive to a collector of vintage furniture. Originally designed as a dressing table and probably part of a set for the bedroom. Comprising of two end cupboards with removable shelves and two generous central drawers, original brass knobs and a mirror that can be either attached by the wooden supports to the back of the unit or wall mounted (we have attached a new metal chain to the back of the mirror, this allows the mirror to hand from your wall ). The unit stands on splayed beech legs and has fabulous walnut veneers. The condition is excellent for a vintage piece, this one is possibly from the 50s and whilst no labels or markings, I’m sure it was designed by Neil Morris and manufactured by Morris of Glasgow, probably as part of the Cumbrae Furniture Range [I've had other similar pieces from this range].
We have cleaned inside and out and degreased this piece, giving a light sand and then re oiling to bring out the striking walnut grain veneers, this enhances and further protects the wood. There is a fading in areas to the top of this piece and a ring mark as shown in the photos. The drawers and cupboards are clean and the mirror has no chips or cracks just light surface scratches and some fogging to the edges.

Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
