Vintage Compact 50s/60s Extending Formica Kitchen/Dining/Desk Table

There is no doubt that dining tables are the centre of attraction in a dining/living space, but also possibly the biggest in dimension too! So if your house or apartment simply does not have the necessary space for a large table at all times, then this fabulous extending 50s/60s vintage wood effect formica kitchen/dining table gives you the perfect combination of space-saving design, beauty and durability, fitting into any MCM home.

Compact but spacious enough to seat four, useful as a desk or workstation and its wipe clean surface is suitable for the children when mealtimes or crafting get messy!

With a solid sturdy hardwood frame, probably beech, the table has been thoroughly de-greased and cleaned, the wood oiled and waxed and formica top polished. The wooden frame shows only light surface scratches, fantastic condition considering its age, no chips or loose edges. The extra leaves are hidden underneath the square table top and very simply slide out independently of each other, extending the table as required. We loved the white edging of this retro table and so gave it a bit of an upcycle by painting the lower part of the legs in “Craig & Rose” Pantry White!

In most circumstances, we offer free hand delivery, contact-free, to most mainland UK addresses, either by ourselves or via our dedicated, trusted, couriers. This ensures that your purchases arrive in exactly the condition they were in when you purchased them, as accurately described on our site. You should expect delivery to be within 1 to 3 weeks of you placing the order. We will contact you directly with a firm delivery date and advise you in advance of a two hour delivery window. Free delivery does not apply to areas of mainland UK not covered by our trusted couriers - if this applies to your purchase, we will simply charge you what we are charged for delivery, less any Etsy fees, and notify you of this as soon a practicable after the sale goes through, giving you the option of a full refund.
 
We are able to package and export items beyond mainland UK and have done so as far afield as Hong Kong and New Zealand. We regularly export to Northern Ireland and Eire and the majority of Europe. Please contact us directly for a tailored quotation.
